While visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida, with her family, five-year-old Leilani Hatton of Darlington, England, misplaced her beloved teddy bear, Jofli. The family searched high and low for the cherished toy, which Leilani takes with her everywhere, but ultimately had to return home without Jofli.

A couple of weeks after returning to Darlington, a surprise package arrived on the Hatton’s doorstep. Disney employees had found Jofli and mailed it 42-hundred miles back to Leilani’s home. Her grandma, Lynne Cullen, was blown away by the kind gesture, saying how thrilled Leilani was when she received the bear, believing that Mickey Mouse had found it for her.

Leilani’s father, David Hatton, heaped praise on Disney's customer service, amazed by their effort to see the bear returned to Leilani. He also noted that they had little hope they’d ever see the toy again given the vast size of Disney World. Leilani was overjoyed and shared her excitement with her schoolmates, even writing a thank-you note to Mickey Mouse, saying how grateful she is to him for finding and returning Jofli.
