Indianapolis mom Erin Edds was happy to have found the perfect Christmas present for her autistic 17-year-old son Levi: a bright yellow adult tricycle that would help him gain some level of independence. She arranged to meet the seller and they were both shocked to discover the trike had been stolen from the seller’s yard.

Both Edds and the seller started spreading the word about the missing trike, hoping that someone would know what happened to it. A few days later, they received some good news: the community response to the story was overwhelming. Not only did they get the original stolen trike back, an anonymous couple also offered to donate a brand new, custom-made tricycle specifically tailored to Levi’s needs.

The acts of kindness didn’t stop there. Levi ended up receiving multiple donated trikes. Edds is beyond grateful for all the support they’ve received from the community and they plan to donate the extra tricycles to help other local individuals with physical challenges.
