To celebrate the Phoenix Suns making it into the NBA playoffs, Goodwill Central & Northern Arizona decided to have a scavenger hunt, with the prize being a pair of tickets to the Suns’ second playoff game, on Tuesday of this week, against the Los Angeles Clippers. GoodwillAZ announced on social media earlier in the week that the tickets would be hidden at one of 10 Arizona Goodwill locations. Then they shared a clue on Instagram stories, "No matter where you are, you can look to the rising sun for Victory."
The clue led Michaela Mason to one of the easternmost stores on the list, where she found the prize clipped to a Suns rally towel among some washcloths. Mason had never attended a Suns game before, making this playoff game her first experience. She and her husband got to watch the Tuesday night game seated just a couple of rows from the action.
Goodwill plans to have more Golden Ticket Scavenger Hunts 's golden ticket scavenger hunts throughout the playoffs. They encourage fans to follow GoodwillAZ on Instagram and Facebook for updates and more clues.
