NBA superstar Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry host a winter wonderland celebration in Oakland for 2-thousand people including 500 kids. For the 10th year, the Golden State Warriors star point guard and his wife hosted their annual Christmas with the Currys event, organized by their nonprofit, the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation.
The celebration included sugar cookie decorating, food trucks, ice skating, sledding, a snowball play pit, and a chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and get a pic with them. In a statement, the Currys say it was a chance to bring together the community and help make the season brighter for families under a lot of pressure.
The eight-time All-Star appeared to be having a good time at the event, handing out high fives and getting in on the play, including throwing snowballs. The Currys say that the event was a reminder of just how big an impact giving can make in a family’s life.
