As mistakes go, this one’s a whopper. A woman whose band was hired to perform at a wedding was surprised to find out that the person who hired them was her ex, who had dated her for five years before cheating on her. At that point, Alexandra Starr made the decision to go ahead with the performance but surprised the new bride and groom with “Before He Cheats,” and then threw a glass of water in the groom’s face.
Starr posted video clips of the performance to TikTok that have over 10 million views so far, with some saying it was staged. Starr says the entire thing was real, and her ex didn’t know she was the singer for the band he hired.
