Colorado Tot Reunites With Stuffed Puppy Lost At Wisconsin Airport

A Colorado three-year-old is reunited with his stuffed puppy three months after he lost it at the Milwaukee airport. Over the Christmas holiday, Archie Carey and his family went to see family in Wisconsin and while at MKE - Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, Archie lost his stuffed puppy Elf.

Fast forward a couple of months and Archie’s dad Andrew Carey is scrolling through social media and comes across a post from MKE saying they'd found a stuffed puppy. The pup was sporting a TSA sticker from Colorado, so airport staff figured the stuffy had been left by a passenger from Denver, so they flew Elf back to Colorado to get him closer to home.

A few days later, the Carey fam heads to the Denver Airport to reunite with puppy Elf. Archie’s mom Bobbi Jean says they’re thankful for the help from the folks at the Milwaukee and Denver airports. She’s also glad that the story hit the news because, “Who doesn’t need a heartwarming news story these days?”

  • Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport seems to be making a habit of reuniting kids with their lost stuffies. We told you about them returning a stuffed bear to a boy in Texas in January.
