The Idaho Falls Fire Department has recognized a new hero and it’s a three-year-old girl. Their crews responded to a call after a toddler called 911 to say something was wrong with her mommy.
It turns out, her mother had a pre-existing medical condition and was home alone with the toddler and a baby. Thanks to the little girl knowing what to do during an emergency, her mom was able to get the treatment she needed.
In a Facebook post, the fire department shares that the mom was in stable condition when they left, “thanks to the actions of a very smart little person and our amazing dispatchers.” They encourage everyone to teach their kids how to call 911 in an emergency, especially when someone has a medical condition.
