A pickup truck was swept off a bridge that was covered in water, sending the truck into the flooded creek below. The truck was partially submerged in the rushing creek in DeKalb County, Tennessee, trapping five people inside, including an infant.
The area was under a flood watch after “intense rainfall” over the weekend. Water rescue teams from multiple local agencies teamed up for the rescue. Using equipment, including a bucket truck, they were able to safely get the five people out and no one was injured.
