Bessemer High School in Alabama just had their graduation, but it wasn’t happy for everyone. While cleaning up after the event, teacher Dominique Moore noticed that one grad was alone. Moore asked “where are your people” and the teen said “Nobody’s here.” He took the student to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and drove him home. But that;s; not the end.
The whole situation didn’t sit well with the teacher and he took to social media about it...something he normally doesn’t do. Moore added his Cash App handle, $mooredaeducator, in case anyone wanted to be a “blessing” for the teen. Then he helped the grad open a checking account. Over five thousand dollars has come in so far.
Moore has been driving the teen to his new job and wants to help him get a car and a place to live. He notes, its about the big picture. "We take people and life for granted. Even though we have bad, in this moment it shows that mankind is good."
