Mansfield – Trooper Bryce Imars of the Mansfield Post has earned the title of District Trooper of the Year for the Bucyrus District. In October he was selected by his peers as the Mansfield Post Trooper of the Year and then moved on to earn the next level as the Bucyrus District Trooper of the Year. He is now in contention for the 2025 State Trooper of the Year award.

Imars has shown great dedication to his community as he continues to serve. As a 2017 Madison High School graduate he went on to work with the Ohio Department of Corrections before joining The Ohio State Highway Patrol in 2023. He graduated as part of the 170th Academy Class and was assigned to the Milan Post before transferring to the Mansfield Post in 2024. In his short tenure as a trooper, he has already been awarded the Criminal Patrol Award in 2024.

Imars enjoys developing a connection with his community by developing programs that unite our youth and law enforcement. In his spare time, he coaches Junior High basketball for the Foundations Academy. He also enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing.
