Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was hospitalized after his team's 25-24 Monday Night Football road win against the Washington Commanders, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Moore, 28, was reportedly "joking in the Bears' locker room immediately after the game" before later leaving the stadium in an ambulance and receiving "precautionary medical attention," for an undisclosed reason. A Bears official told the Chicago Sun-Times that head coach Ben Johnson would provide more details about Moore's condition on Tuesday (October 14) afternoon.

Moore appeared to be in pain after taking a hit to the midsection during the first half, but never exited the game, nor announced as an injured player during the live ESPN broadcast Monday (October 13) night. The veteran wide receiver recorded three receptions for 42 yards on five targets and has recorded 19 receptions for 215 yards and one touchdown on 26 targets during the first five games of the 2025 NFL season.

The Bears improved their record to 3-2 with the road win against the Commanders despite trailing 24-16 in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Caleb Williams connected with running back D'Andre Swift on a 55-yard touchdown pass with 10:26 remaining before leading a nine-play, 36-yard drive to setup Jake Moody's 38-yard game-winning field goal as time expired.

The Bears will return to Soldier Field to host the New Orleans Saints (1-5) on Sunday (October 19).
