Miley Cyrus isn't letting her regret for past tattoos stop her from getting new ink.

The Something Beautiful singer showed off the brand new tattoo she got inked from tattoo artist Michelle Santana, of Bang Bang Tattoo in New York City, per Page Six. Santana shared a photo of Cyrus' new tat on her Instagram on Monday (June 2), giving a closer look at "Muse" written in a dainty script on her back below her right shoulder as well as snaps of the tattooing process.

Though the inspiration behind the delicate tattoo may be unclear, Page Six notes it could be a nod to her mother, Tish Cyrus, who she has called her "muse" in the past.

News of the "Flowers" hitmaker's latest ink comes one day after she admitted in a video for The New York Times that she regrets about "80 percent" of the tattoos she has gotten over the years.

"I don't regret them enough to laser them, but some of them... like I love my cat, but I didn't need that," she said, adding, "I love my dog, but, like, I don't know, just having a pitbull in every picture for the rest of my life is kind of intense. There's just a few I could do without."

Cyrus isn't the only celeb who has expressed regret for past tattoos. Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson has been on a lengthy journey of getting rid of most of his 200 tattoos and has shared updates on the slow-going process.
