The Richland County commissioners have approved a half dozen new cruisers for the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
RichlandSource.com reports, the cost for the 6 new vehicles is $365,000, which will bring the fleet for the department to just over 70.
Also, 4 laptops will be purchased and be installed inside the vehicles, which will be just over $12,000. The new cruisers and computer technology is being paid for through the county reinvestment fund.
