Body Found Near Lexington, Confirmed Missing 25 year old Ashland County Man

The body found earlier this month, near Lexington, has been confirmed to be the missing 25 year old man from Ashland County.

RichlandSource.com reports, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed through dental records the body found was James Beardsley of Polk, who was reported missing in early January. His car was found at the Der Dutchman restaurant in Bellville, which is just a few miles away from where the body was located near the B&O Trail. 

A person walking their dog found the body on February 2nd around 9 am, about 50 feet west of the bike trail. 

Richland County Coroner’s Office investigator, Tom Stortz, said, the body had been there for a while and was frozen.
