Ohio Unemployment Numbers Show Under 30,000 In New Claims

Unemployment numbers are out and show that in Ohio last week 28,000 people applied for first time benefits, according to the Department of Job and Family Services. Statewide since the pandemic began back in March, over 1 million people have applied for unemployment and the state has paid more than $5 billion to residents.
