Back in 2015, William Daniels Jr got lucky and won $100-thousand on a lottery scratch-off game. Then last week, the 31-year-old Middle River, Maryland, man did it again, winning $50-thousand on a scratch-off and now he says he knows the secret to his good fortune.
You see, back in 2015, Daniels was sporting long hair when he won that hundred grand. For the last few years, he’s had it cut short, but let it grow out recently before his most recent win and now he sees a pattern: his long hair brings him good luck.
With the money from his 2015 win, the aircraft assembly employee was able to buy a house and this time he plans on using his winnings to pay for his upcoming wedding. No matter what his future brings, one thing he knows for sure is that when it comes to playing the lotto, he says, “I’m going to stick with long hair.”
