An Arizona police officer helps a woman find a lost $100 bill on the side of the road. Earlier this month, Buckeye, Arizona, police officer Stephen Farmer saw a woman desperately looking for something on the side of the road, so he pulled over to see if he could help her.
The woman told Farmer that she’d lost a $100 bill that blew out of her car window and that she needed the money to pay some bills. So the officer started searching the roadside with her. After a few moments, Farmer saw what looked like crumpled-up cash lying on the grass and picked it up. It was the woman’s $100 bill.
The woman was elated. “Oh my god, I don’t know what I’d do without you,” she told the officer. “Thank you very much. Now I can pay for my electric, and I don’t have to worry about it getting shut off.” The Buckeye Police Department shared a video of the moment on their Twitter. “Lending a helping hand is a big part of what we do,” the post read.
