An Oregon man’s act of kindness with his wife ended up bringing him good luck. Levi Robinette wanted to help his wife adjust to her new hours at work so he stayed up all night with her. He says he decided to get some energy drinks after pulling the all-nighter and bought a few scratch-off lottery tickets, too.
Robinette tells Oregon Lottery officials that when his fatigue cleared up, he realized he won big on one of the tickets. He said, “I walked in to get an energy drink and walked out with $100-thousand.”
After claiming his prize, he splurged on a motorcycle, but says the rest of the money will go into savings.
