Katelen Cheshire from Telford, England, found the perfect location for her upcoming Christmas-themed wedding. After getting a virtual tour of Stanford Farm Wedding Venue via video conference, director Cindy Edwards wanted to learn more about Cheshire, so the 23-year-old bride-to-be told her about her battle with stage four Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Twice Cheshire has beaten her cancer into remission, but earlier this year she learned that the cancer had returned. Despite the challenges, she was looking forward to marrying her fiance, 29-year-old Billy Green. After learning about Cheshire’s health situation, Edwards offered to host the couple’s nuptials "completely free of charge."
But the kindness didn't stop there, Edwards also reached out to suppliers and managed to secure complimentary flowers, decorations, photos, entertainment, and even a wedding gown for Cheshire’s big day. The wedding is scheduled for November, just before Cheshire is scheduled to undergo a cell transplant. The bride-to-be has been blown away by the outpouring of support and especially the help from Edwards, saying, “I couldn't be anymore thankful for what everyone is doing for me."
