Starbucks To Give Free Coffee To Military On Veterans Day

Starbucks is offering free coffee to veterans, active military and their spouses on Veterans Day. To honor military members and their families, on Veterans Day (Friday, November 11th) Starbucks will be giving away free coffee to active military service members, veterans and military spouses.

In a statement, a Starbucks spokesperson says the company will continue to honor the military community on Veterans Day and beyond. “At Starbucks, we believe veterans, service members and military spouses make our company better and communities stronger,” the statement reads.

Starbucks also announced that they are donating money to a pair of nonprofits focused on veterans issues. Veteran health and wellness organization Team Red, White & Blue and Team Rubicon, an organization that employs veterans to provide assistance after disasters, will be receiving $100-thousand each. The company says that while Veterans Day is just one day out of the year, their commitment to supporting veterans and their families is a year-round effort.
