A New South Wales, Australia woman is sharing a story on Twitter about a special ring she owns. She gave the gold ring with a crescent moon and stars on it to a 14-year-old boy years ago. He kept it when they broke up. About 20 years later she ran into the boy’s sister who was wearing the ring it was given back to her.

Ever since, she’s believed it was good luck and she started lending it to friends and family who are afraid of flying. It’s always come back, except one time when the ring took a detour.

Jenny lent it to a friend who was moving to Perth and flying there. He mailed it back in a regular envelope and fell out of it, so all Jenny got was the envelope. She filed a claim with the Australian postal service and to her surprise, a few days later they told her it was found. They mailed the lucky ring back and she’s had it ever since.
