A Kansas teen is getting everybody at his high school involved in showing the school’s custodians how much they’re appreciated. Atchison High School senior Kaleb Kelley-Jones was looking for ways to give back to his community.
He noticed how hard the janitors at his school work and decided to show them how much their contribution is valued. "They do a lot for us at the school," Kaleb explains. "I don't know if they're ever acknowledged for it."
So the 18-year-old had his family help him make a bunch of cookies and he presented them to the janitors along with a card that he had signed by every single student, teacher, and administrator at the school. The custodians were blown away by the kind gesture and say it made their day.
