How Cool is this? George Harrison’s Childhood Home Now An Airbnb And Museum

When George Harrison’s childhood home went up for auction in November, no one expected this. Ken Lambert, a superfan of Harrison and the Beatles, put in the winning bid of $250k and became only the fourth person to ever own the home. He put his career in commercial construction to use and turned it into a business.

The home is now a house museum and an Airbnb. Lambert says he decided to do it when he realized that John Lennon and Paul McCartney had house museums dedicated to them, but none existed for Harrison. The house now rents for between $275 and $400 a night, depending on the date.
