Cop Covers Adoption Fees For Last Three Dogs At Shelter Before Xmas

Thanks to a police officer in Virginia, the last three dogs at Chesterfield County Animal Shelter found their forever homes, just in time for Christmas. Colonel Jeffrey S. Katz tweeted that he would pay for the adoption fees for Sugarplum, Claus and Holly, as long as they were adopted by Friday.

"Three precious animals looking for a warm loving home before Christmas," he wrote alongside a photo of the three pups. “I’m committed to finding them homes by Christmas & will personally PAY YOUR ADOPTION FEE.”

And his plan worked! The three pups were all adopted and now have a home for the holidays.
