Busy Mom Surprised By Kindness Of Her Instacart Shopper

Sometimes it really is the little things that make all the difference. Brittany, a hardworking and kindhearted Instacart shopper in Colorado, likes to find ways to make others happy in her work. And she was able to do that when she recently did the grocery run for Katie, a stressed-out mom.

Katie has two toddlers at home and Brittany was picking up her online order from Target, when she sent a message to see if there was anything else she needed. Katie joked, “My sanity if you see it, these kids are driving me crazy!” She didn’t think much of the lighthearted comment, but her shopper did.

When the order arrived, Brittany had included an extra bag of goodies among the requested items. She bought some Play-Doh for the kids, as well as a candle and paint kit for Katie, and she sent a handwritten note with words of encouragement that brought the mom to tears. Brittany paid for those things herself and Katie says it showed her “there is still kindness in this crazy world.”
