In an effort to heal his broken heart after his cat disappeared, a man in Maine went to a shelter to look for another pet. The Bangor Humane Society reports that Theron came in to try to find another companion after his cat, Cutie Pie, went missing.
As he searched their adoptable cats, he found the purr-fect one - it was his very own cat! The Humane Society shares that Theron was thrilled to come face-to-face with Cutie Pie once again and the feeling was mutual, adding that they’ve “never seen a cat so eager to be in a cat carrier.”
"This is the good stuff," they write in a Facebook post. “We want to reunite as many animals as possible with their owners, and it's an honor to keep them safe until that can happen."
