Boy Starts Lawn Service To Raise Money For BLM

An 11-year-old in Missouri is showing his support for the Black Lives Matter movement, one lawn at a time. Jack Powers says he saw what happened to George Floyd and that he “didn’t like how people were being treated.” So he decided to do something to help change that.

The sixth-grader started a lawn mowing business and instead of keeping his earnings, he is donating all of the proceeds to Black Lives Matter. He’s gotten positive responses from his neighbors and some folks are donating to him even if they don’t need their grass cut. So far Jack has raised about $110 and he’s just getting started.
