A small plant and garden shop in Pennsylvania has gone above and beyond to look out for a customer during the pandemic and their act of kindness has gone viral. In a Twitter thread, Maureen Johnson shares that her mom ordered flowers from Castle's Garden Center in Bucks County, but they delivered so much more.
She writes that when they brought the flowers, the driver also delivered a bag of hot meals as well as multiple bags of groceries. Her mom was so surprised and asked why. the driver explained, “When you called, you mentioned you promised your daughter not to go out, so we were worried you had no food and brought you some.”
Johnson’s mom tried to pay them but they refused, so she’s trying to get the word out and encourage people to support this small business run by amazing people. She says they probably spent more on the food than her mom did on flowers. The Twitterverse loves the story and many people in the area are vowing to shop there as a result.
