Shelby Man Suffers Minor Injuries In Fatal Crash In Huron County

Norwalk Post Investigating Fatal Crash on Section Line 30

Lyme Township– The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on October 6, 2022 at 9:10 AM. The crash occurred on Section Line 30 at Young Road in Lyme Township, Huron County.

Todd Enderle, age 62, of Mason Rd in Milan, was driving a red 2012 Chevy Silverado westbound on Young Road. Paul Kanney, age 32, of West Main St in Shelby, was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram northbound on Section Line 30. Mr. Enderle failed to yield from a stop sign and pulled into the path of Mr. Kanney. Mr. Kanney struck Mr. Enderle on the driver side. Both vehicles came to rest off the northwest corner of the interection.

Todd Enderle was transported from the scene by North Central EMS to Fisher Titus Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His vehicle was towed from the scene by Norb’s Towing. Paul Kanney sustained minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene. His vehicle was towed from the scene by Wilcox Towing.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts. The Ohio State Patrol was assisted on scene by the Bellevue Fire Department, North Central EMS, Wilcox Towing and Norb’s Towing.
