A Power outage on Thursday left roughly 8,000 customers in the Mansfield area without power sometime just after 6 am.
RichlandSource.com reports that it was a downed transmission line that caused the outage.
Three area schools were impacted, Lucas, Clear Fork and Mansfield Christian, and either had to close or delay the start of classes.
Joe Jakubick of Ohio Edison said most power was restored by 9:52 am to the area.
